During his current visit to South Africa, Patrick Fleming (one of our trustees) has visited pre-schools in St Francis Bay, another location where our funding of e’Pap is making a such difference to the lives of children – to their health, energy and concentration.
Yearly Archives: 2022
On his trip to South Africa Patrick Fleming, one of our trustees, is visiting almost all of the areas in which the projects we fund are located. One stop was Hornlee in Knysna, with Shelley Godsell who runs our biggest beneficiary the e”Pap Children’s Feeding Project.
Two pre-schools in Sedgefield which benefit from e’Pap meals are Wielie Walie and Little Teddy’s Creche. Gladys, who started Little Teddy’s 31 years ago, is pictured with Barbara an e’Pap volunteer for the area.
Further update from trustee Patrick Fleming who is currently visiting South Africa. Patrick visited the Donald Duck Pre-school in Laingsburg last week. GRCT trustee and treasurer, Cathy Williamson, embarked on a mini-trek with four friends last month to raise money for the GRCT. The five participants are scattered over various parts of the country and took part in their respective locations; in Lancashire, Warwickshire, Surrey, Sussex and Devon. Thank you so much […]
Ingirid Morrison and her community in Orkney raised an astounding amount once again last year – over £4,000 for the GRCT.
One of our younger supporters, Monty, held a plant sale outside his front door last year selling plants he had grown from seed. His Mum promised to match what he made and he made £40. One way you could partner with us, is by holding your own GRCT fundraising event!
Late last year we started feeding in another new area. The contact behind this project is Mias Nortier a dominee (minister) who was the driver behind the GRCT funded feeding initiatives at Laingsburg. He relocated and is working at the Dutch Reformed Church in Despatch (about 15 miles from Port […]
