Thankfully the rain stayed away for the GRCT’s 10th Anniversary Tea held on Saturday! The tea was an opportunity to express our gratitude to our supporters, whose generosity makes such a difference to the health and education of thousands of South African children. Penny Fleming also formally “handed over the baton” of leadership to Ruth Burns, our new chairperson, and Catherine Michell, her deputy. The charity will still benefit from Penny and Patrick’s wisdom and experience as they will continue to serve as trustees. Shelley Godsell, who heads up the e’Pap feeding project in Knysna, also attended the tea and was able to tell our supporters first hand about the difference their generosity makes.
